After seminary, Rev. Dan Schmidt served churches in Maryland, Illinois, and Costa Rica before settling in at St. Thomas. He and Sue have 3 daughters and 6 grandkids. Along with pastoring, Dan likes to write books and kayak slow rivers. He's an adjunct professor at Messiah University, too.
Betsy Smith has directed the music program and played organ at St. Thomas for 23 years. She and her husband Curtis have two married daughters, a granddaughter and 2 grandsons. She likes to read, do crafts, and babysit their grandkids. Betsy is also the accompanist for Paxtonia Elementary's choruses.
Carol Wirth retired from the insurance industry and settled into the St. Thomas office, where she brightens the day of all who meet her. She has two daughters, one in Ohio and one here. Carol loves cooking, especially the eating part, reading and cats, and hopes to meet you soon!
